After holding virtual global meetings during the pandemic, the Horasis India Meeting is gathering leaders in person to discuss how innovation can be applied to meet challenges facing humanity today.
Horasis, a global visions community dedicated to inspiring our future, has announced the dates and location for its annual India Meeting. With the target of facilitating discussions of sustainable growth between business leaders from emerging markets and their global counterparts, the Meeting will convene this year from September 25th to 26th in Binh Duong New City, Vietnam, to tackle the most significant issues facing the country.
India has surpassed the UK to become the world’s fifth-largest economy, now only behind the US, China, Japan and Germany, according to the IMF. According to the provisional estimates of GDP released on May 31, 2022, India’s economy has fully recovered to the pre-pandemic real GDP level of 2019-20. Real GDP growth in FY 2021-22 stands at 8.7%, 1.5% higher than the real GDP in FY 2019-20. These figures indicate more robust growth momentum and increased economic demand.
With this year’s meeting as a platform, delegates can discuss the most significant issues related to the Indian economy, shared alongside high-performing business and government decision-makers.
Co-hosted by Binh Duong Province and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), this year’s Horasis India meeting will bring over 300 of the most senior members of the Horasis community together to discuss India’s future. Delegates from India and abroad will also discuss Vietnam’s role as a hub for expansion into Southeast Asia as the rapidly modernizing nation moves into the next phase of its Doi Moi economic industrialization plan. The meeting’s main sponsor will be Becamex IDC.
With the world’s economies still pressurized by lingering supply chain and manufacturing challenges, and global leaders faced with increasingly tense geopolitical realities, delegates will look to Indian and Vietnamese resourcefulness to raise potential solutions

The topics this year’s sessions will discuss will revolve around how India’s government decision-making and its business decision-making apparatuses have been revitalized, lessons learned over the past 2 years, and what lies ahead for the future of industries, including in manufacturing, sustainability, and digital currencies, among others.
Founded in 2009 by Dr. Frank Jurgen-Richter, Horasis India Meeting has become an annual meeting of prestige for Indian business leaders and their global counterparts. This year’s session will see the attendance of high-ranking Vietnamese and Indian politicians, business leaders, and other public figures at multiple thought-leadership sessions held over a two day period.
