Reddit’s iconic AMAs (Ask Me Anything) just got a major upgrade. The social media company just unveiled a suite of new features designed to make hosting and participating in AMAs more convenient and engaging than before. Seasoned AMA hosts as well as curious redditors eager to connect with their favorite personalities, can look forward to these updates.
Users can RSVP via a new button and receive reminders beforehand and when AMAs start. They can also sort by Answered versus Unanswered questions, allowing the user to see responses quicker. Users can also keep themselves informed of the official end to an AMA by the host. Users can also use Reddit for the community’s AMA calendar to stay updated on upcoming AMAs.
“Starting today, we’re rolling out a new suite of AMA updates to give redditors who host AMAs tools to help their community members get up close and personal with their favorite guests,” Reddit said in a blog post. “And for talent and hosts, we’re introducing a frictionless way to connect with new and existing audiences, both on and off the platform,” it added.
“Our new tools were designed with convenience in mind. AMAs now appear as a tab in the updated web post composer, making them as easy to create as a regular post,” it revealed.
