Motorola Launches Defy XT and Defy Mini

Cellphone maker Motorola today launched two smart phones, which are water-resistant, scratch-resistant and dust-proof.

The smart phones — Motorola DEFY XT and DEFY MINI — are the first smart phones in the country to feature MotoSwitch, a handy user interface that collects all the user preferences and stores them, which helps the user to be organised, the company said in a release.

The Motorola DEFY XT has a 5-megapixel camera and the Motorola DEFY MINI has a 3-megapixel camera. “Our original Motorola DEFY was a hit all over Asia. We are now expanding our portfolio of water-resistant smart phones to give more choices without having to break the wallet,” Motorola Mobility India country head (sales and operations) Rajan Chawla said.

Motorola DEFY XT will be available at select retailers, priced at Rs 16,190, while the dual-sim Motorola DEFY MINI will be available from 20th June, at Rs 11,490.
