Price-hunt.com uses open source technology namely PHP/MySql on a LAMP platform to accomplish the task of real time comparison. The code has been developed in-house exclusively for the site and it primarily uses scalability of MySql along with the versatility of PHP as a server side programming language to do real time comparison. Our complex algorithms help serve up the best prices to make online shopping convenient.
How soon do you plan to launch the mobile version?
Mobile version of the site is under development. It will be an adaptation of the desktop version to the mobile with reduced features. We also plan an andriod application for the mobile users in very near future.
Is Price-Hunt bootstrapped or have you received any fundings?
Price-Hunt is currently self-funded for the time being. We might look at fundings as and when required.

The website was conceptialised by Anupam Khurana and Palka Khurana in late 2012 and was launched in January 2013. Right now these are the main team members behind Price-hunt.com with others for support functions.
Anupam Khurana is B.E. (Mechanical) from Delhi College of Engineering with 15 years experience in the software industry. Palka Khurana is B.E. (Instrumentation) from Delhi Institute of technology with 10 years experience in marketing and sales management.

What are your future plans for Price-Hunt?
There are still few features that need to be added which can help the user get a better online shopping experience. We also plan to cover more stores to provide a single platform for any product the user wants to buy. Our plan is to make Price-hunt.com one of the leading price-comparison sites where the user is not bound by products to select from.
