PriceBaba.com Introduces Local Prices, Launches In Bangalore

24th Sept, 2013 – PriceBaba.com, a shopping intelligence engine for buying mobile phones announces availability of Local prices and availability from stores in Mumbai. PriceBaba lists over 1000 mobile phone models from over 20 manufacturers and gives consumers an option to find local shops to buy them across 6 cities. Local brings data from local retailers to the web, thus bridging the gap between online and offline.

Annkur P Agarwal, Cofounder, PriceBaba.com commented, “We have been working on PriceBaba Local since over a year and are happy to rollout its availability for consumers In Mumbai. Consumers can now get accurate pricing and availability information from mobile phone shops in Mumbai. This kind of research has been previously impossible In India”. PriceBaba.com also announces its availability in Bangalore with over 200 stores to choose from. Thus completing its coverage in 6 cities including Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Pune and Mumbai. “Each store on our network has been visited personally and have undergone at least two levels of verification. We rejected hundreds of stores across India to ensure that only the most reliable options are exposed to our users” said Annkur P Agarwal, Cofounder,PriceBaba.

500 Startups backed PriceBaba covers over 700 retailers across India and plans to be live in 10 cities by end of the year. With a team of 11, PriceBaba has rolled out a research engine with local retailers, product data, comparison, email and SMS alerts and HD photos / videos.
