Hyderabad is one of the largest IT hubs with a large number of educational institutes including top class institutes like the ISB and IIIT.Infact, the Gachibowli-Hi-tech City locality itself boasts of Indian and Global majors like Facebook Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, amongst others.The city is also host to several promising startups. IIIT Hyderabad and iStarted (startup community launched by ISB alumni – Nimesh Mehta and Nitin Pulyani)are organising an event named ‘Take The Leap’on 22ndFebruary 2014. ‘Take the Leap’ is a speed-networking event for startups looking for top quality professionals to join their founding teams.
iStarted is an independent group for all entrepreneurs who have started up and have interesting stories to share. This is the group where you meet like-minded entrepreneurs, investors and other people and hang out over a beer or a coffee.
Over 35 fantastic startups have already registered for ‘Take the Leap’. Most of them are early stage startups doing some really cool stuff in mobile, gaming, healthcare, enterprise software, big data and even the social sector.
If you are a dreamer looking to join a startup’s founding team, here’s a great opportunity to meet the best minds in the technology and business worlds alike. You are warmly welcomed in Take The Leap event if you are a founder or co-founder of a company looking for like-minded people for your start-up in Hyderabad.
‘Take the Leap’ is scheduled from 14:00-18:00 hours on 22nd February 2014. Here each of the carefully selected startups will give a 2-minute pitch about why they are a great place to work. Talented professionals from top engineering companies or top companies who have been hesitant to join a startup can have one-on-one conversation with these startups to help them make the decision
